Angel One Limited has settled adjudication and enquiry proceedings with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) over alleged lapses in supervision of its authorised persons. The settlement order was passed under Section 15JB of the SEBI Act read with Regulation 23(1) of the SEBI (Settlement Proceedings) Regulations, 2018.

The regulator had initiated adjudication and enquiry proceedings against Angel One for alleged violations relating to supervision and monitoring of Authorised Persons under the SEBI (Stock Brokers) Regulations, 1992. The allegations included failure to detect unauthorised fund collection, insufficient due diligence, and non-compliance with applicable SEBI regulations and Exchange circulars.

Angel One filed settlement applications bearing numbers 8564/2025 and 8565/2025 without admission or denial of the findings. Angel One submitted a revised settlement term on February 13, 2026, proposing Rs 4.28 crore towards settlement. SEBI accepted the proposed terms, and Angel One remitted the full amount.

No penalty was levied by SEBI under the settlement order. On receipt of the Rs 4.28 crore settlement amount, the adjudication and enquiry proceedings initiated against Angel One were disposed of.

Angel One received the communication from the regulator on June 15, 2026, and disclosed the development to the stock exchanges under Regulation 30 of the SEBI Listing Regulations. The settlement brings closure to the proceedings that had been initiated against Angel One over the alleged supervisory and monitoring lapses.
