Ashok Leyland Limited reported a standalone net profit of Rs 1,404.72 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2026, a 12.7% increase from Rs 1,245.87 crore in the same quarter last year. Revenue from operations for the quarter rose 18.9% to Rs 14,160.49 crore from Rs 11,906.71 crore in the year-ago period. Profit before tax for the March quarter stood at Rs 1,909.13 crore.
For the full financial year 2025-26, standalone net profit rose to Rs 3,565.53 crore from Rs 3,303.29 crore in the previous year. Revenue from operations for FY26 increased to Rs 44,007.03 crore from Rs 38,752.74 crore in FY25. Profit before tax for the year was Rs 4,814.02 crore, compared with Rs 4,348.29 crore in the prior year.
Standalone total expenses for FY26 were Rs 39,159.70 crore, up from Rs 34,758.43 crore in FY25. Basic earnings per share for FY26 was Rs 6.07, against Rs 5.62 in the previous year. The operating margin for the full year stood at 13.03%.
The board declared a second interim dividend of Rs 2.50 per equity share for the financial year ended March 31, 2026. The record date has been fixed as June 3, 2026, and payment will be made on or before June 26, 2026. No final dividend will be paid for FY26.
On a consolidated basis, Ashok Leyland posted a net profit of Rs 1,381.32 crore for the March quarter, with revenue from operations at Rs 17,246.44 crore. Outstanding qualified borrowings at the end of FY26 stood at Rs 1,002.04 crore, down from Rs 1,228.34 crore at the start of the year.
