Asian Paints Limited has re-appointed Milind Sarwate as an Independent Director for a second term of five consecutive years, commencing from 21st October 2026 to 20th October 2031. He is not related to any Director, Key Managerial Personnel or members of the Promoter Group of Asian Paints.
He serves as an Independent Director on the boards of CEAT Limited, Mahindra & Mahindra Financial Services Limited, OmniActive Health Technologies Limited, and Viyash Scientific Limited. He is the Founder and Designated Partner of Increate Value Advisors LLP and Increate Social Value Advisors & Resourcers LLP, and Promoter Director of Increate Foundation, a Section 8 company.
Mr Sarwate previously held leadership roles at Godrej Consumer Products Limited and Marico Limited. He has served as an Independent Director on the boards of several companies over the past 20 years, with expertise in financial stewardship, corporate governance and risk management.
Mr Sarwate was awarded the Best Performing CFO Award in the FMCG & Retail sector by CNBC-TV18 in 2012 and was inducted into the CFO India Hall of Fame in 2013. The board meeting on 29th May 2026 commenced at 11:00 am IST and concluded at 4:40 pm IST.
