AWL Agri Business Limited has added Madhur, one of India's most popular packed consumer sugar brands, to its growing portfolio of food brands. Madhur was originally launched in 2007 by Shree Renuka Sugars Limited and is recognized for its 100% pure, hygienic, and untouched-by-hand processing standards.
The inclusion of Madhur marks a significant step in AWL Agri Business's strategy to build a food portfolio catering to millions of Indian consumers. The brand enjoys a strong emotional connect with households across the country and complements AWL's existing portfolio of trusted food staples.
Mukesh Mishra, Joint President, Sales and Marketing at AWL Agri Business, said the company aims to take Madhur to more homes using its extensive distribution network, strong manufacturing capabilities, and deep market expertise.
AWL Agri Business reaches more than 135 million households across India through over 10,000 distributors and sub-distributors, supported by a retail network of 2.6 million outlets. The company operates more than 80 manufacturing facilities nationwide, including India's largest single-location refinery in Mundra with a capacity of 5,000 tons per day.
Through brands including Fortune, Kohinoor, and now Madhur, AWL Agri Business continues to expand its food portfolio and strengthen its position as one of India's largest food and FMCG companies.
