Balrampur Chini Mills Limited conducted its 'Bioyug On Wheels' awareness campaign in Rajkot on July 9, 2026, promoting sustainable alternatives to conventional plastics. The mobile initiative showcased compostable bioplastics made from sugarcane at Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Art Gallery grounds near Racecourse.
The interactive event attracted over 500 visitors, including students, educators and sustainability enthusiasts. Attendees explored Bioyug's range of compostable products and learned about PLA bioplastics applications in everyday products. The exhibition demonstrated practical, sustainable solutions for banned single-use plastic items.

The event was attended by Avantika Saraogi, Executive Director of Balrampur Chini Mills Limited. Local officials including Pragnesh Solanki, Dipal Kathad and Dipak Pandit from Rajkot Municipal Corporation also participated, reflecting growing municipal support for sustainable alternatives.
