Bharat Dynamics Limited reported its audited standalone financial results for the quarter and year ended March 31, 2026, as approved by the board at its meeting held on May 28, 2026.
Revenue from operations for FY26 stood at Rs 2,441.79 crore, compared with Rs 3,345.05 crore in the prior year. Profit before tax was Rs 567.82 crore against Rs 748.76 crore. Profit after tax declined to Rs 420.34 crore from Rs 549.65 crore. Tax expense for the year was Rs 147.48 crore against Rs 199.12 crore.
The board recommended a final dividend of Rs 0.40 per equity share for 2025-26, subject to shareholder approval. An interim dividend of Rs 4.50 per share was paid in February 2026, bringing the total dividend to Rs 4.90 per share for the year on a face value of Rs 5 each.
Earnings per share for FY26 stood at Rs 11.47, compared with Rs 14.99 in FY25. Total income was Rs 420.80 crore against Rs 549.91 crore. Paid-up equity share capital remained unchanged at Rs 183.28 crore.
Total expenses declined to Rs 2,297.74 crore from Rs 2,946.69 crore. Cost of materials consumed was Rs 1,995.55 crore, down from Rs 2,099.76 crore. Employee benefits expense stood at Rs 535.57 crore against Rs 548.80 crore in the prior year.
Total assets rose to Rs 14,261.50 crore as of March 31, 2026, from Rs 11,742.48 crore a year ago. Total equity stood at Rs 4,240.97 crore, up from Rs 4,008.95 crore. Cash and cash equivalents stood at Rs 863.31 crore, up from Rs 133.86 crore. Other income was Rs 423.77 crore against Rs 350.40 crore in FY25.
