Bharti Airtel Promoter Reports Nil Share Encumbrance for FY26

Bharti Airtel Limited's promoter Bharti Telecom Limited submitted a disclosure to stock exchanges confirming that no encumbrance was created on the company's shares during the financial year 2025-26. The filing was made under Regulation 31(4) of the Securities and Exchange Board of India Takeover Regulations, which requires promoters to report any encumbrance on company shares annually.

Bharti Telecom Limited declared that neither it nor Indian Continent Investment Limited, a person acting in concert with the promoter, created any encumbrance on Bharti Airtel shares during the financial year ended March 31, 2026.

Bharti Telecom Limited confirmed that no encumbrance was created directly or indirectly on any Bharti Airtel shares. Encumbrance includes pledges, liens, and charges created on shares against financial facilities or borrowings. The declaration covers the full financial year from April 1, 2025 to March 31, 2026.

The promoter group's shareholding in Bharti Airtel remained free of any pledges, liens, or charges during the reported period. Kapil Agarwal, Chief Financial Officer of Bharti Telecom Limited, signed the disclosure on April 8, 2026. The exchange received the filing on June 15, 2026. Copies of the disclosure were also marked to the audit committee and company secretary of Bharti Airtel Limited.
