BIRLASOFT LIMITED has been recognised as an 'Enterprise Innovator' in the HFS Horizons: Next-Gen IT Infrastructure Services, 2026 report by HFS Research. The recognition covers Birlasoft's AI-first infrastructure capabilities and platform-led approach to enabling intelligent, scalable, and resilient enterprise operations.

The HFS Horizons framework evaluates service providers across innovation, execution, ecosystem integration, and market impact. Horizon 2 recognises organisations enabling end-to-end, infrastructure-led transformation at scale. HFS Research noted Birlasoft's coherent and technically grounded AI-first infrastructure modernisation vision.

Birlasoft's approach is anchored in Agentic AI ops, infrastructure-as-code generation, Configuration Management Database enrichment, and multi-LLM orchestration. These capabilities enable enterprises to move beyond traditional infrastructure management to intelligent, autonomous, and policy-driven environments supporting AI-native workloads and hybrid cloud ecosystems.

Birlasoft's platform-led approach is built on the Sigma ecosystem, including Sigma Orion for GenAI and Agentic AI across cloud and infrastructure, Sigma GenEx for GenAI experience, Sigma AIOps for autonomous infrastructure operations, and Sigma B-Secure for integrated security. These platforms use pre-built agents, workflows, and automation frameworks for scalable modernisation.

Angan Guha, CEO and Managing Director of Birlasoft, said enterprises are looking beyond incremental improvements toward intelligent, autonomous, and resilient operations. Birlasoft's platform-led approach enables clients to accelerate modernisation at scale while building foundations for AI-native enterprises, he added. Phil Fersht, CEO and Chief Analyst of HFS Research, said Birlasoft focused on building reusable platforms, operational consistency, and AI-ready foundations.

As enterprises adopt AI-native architectures and hybrid operating models, infrastructure is becoming an intelligent control layer for operations. Birlasoft is building AI-ready foundations and modernising legacy environments through platform-led engineering.
