Her work includes policy formulation, regulatory implementation, and strengthening governance and control frameworks. She has experience across depository functions, covering regulatory requirements, business operations, and market infrastructure dynamics.
Ovalekar has been involved in regulatory and investor protection initiatives and strengthening surveillance and oversight mechanisms. She has engaged with regulators and stakeholders on policy implementation and industry initiatives. She has contributed to initiatives to enhance the integrity and efficiency of securities market infrastructure.
