Central Bank of India has declared and paid the fourth interim dividend of Rs 484.82 crore to the Government of India for the financial year 2025-26. Managing Director and CEO Shri Kalyan Kumar presented the dividend cheque to Union Finance Minister Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman at the Ministry of Finance in New Delhi.
Central Bank of India declared the fourth interim dividend at a rate of 6 percent for FY 2025-26. The cumulative interim dividend for the financial year stands at 12 percent, including 6 percent declared during the first three quarters. Total dividend payout to the Government of India for FY 2025-26 is Rs 969.64 crore.
Executive Directors Shri M V Murali Krishna, Shri Mahendra Dohare, and Shri E Ratan Kumar accompanied the MD and CEO at the cheque presentation. Smt Shalini Pandit, Joint Secretary at the Department of Financial Services, and Shri Shishram Tundwal, General Manager of Central Bank of India, also attended the ceremony.
Central Bank of India was established in 1911 and is one of the leading public sector banks in the country. The bank reported total business of over Rs 0.08 crore crore as of March 31, 2026, with CASA deposits of 47.30 percent. It operates through approximately 22,129 branches, ATMs, and banking correspondent touchpoints across India, serving an active customer base of around 8.26 crore customers.
