Cholamandalam Investment and Finance Company Limited has been listed in the 2025 Burgundy Private Hurun India 500 list, a ranking of India's most valuable companies based on value creation and contribution to economic growth. The listing places the financial services firm among the country's leading financial institutions.
Cholamandalam Investment and Finance, the financial services arm of the Murugappa Group, offers vehicle finance, loan against property, home loans, SME loans, consumer durables loans, gold loans, secured business and personal loans, investment advisory services, and stock broking, serving millions of customers across India.
Cholamandalam operates from 2,452 touch points across the country. Assets under management stand at Rs 242,630 crore. Cholamandalam serves over 4.3 million customers nationwide, with a network spanning metropolitan cities and smaller urban centres in multiple states.

Cholamandalam is part of the Murugappa Group, a 125-year-old conglomerate with annual revenue of Rs 90,178 crore. The group has 10 listed companies including Carborundum Universal, CG Power and Industrial Solutions, Coromandel International, and Tube Investments of India. Its businesses span agriculture, engineering, and financial services, and it employs 94,041 people.
