Container Corporation of India Limited (CONCOR) has signed a 15-year agreement with GAIL (India) Ltd. to establish a Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) dispensing station at CONCOR's Inland Container Depot (ICD) in Khodiyar, Ahmedabad.
GAIL will hold exclusive operational control and invest in setting up the retail LNG outlet infrastructure under the agreement signed on July 8, 2026. CONCOR will provide a dedicated land parcel of about 3,000 square metres within its Ahmedabad terminal along with essential utility connectivity.
CONCOR has committed to deploying a dedicated fleet of 15 LNG-powered commercial vehicles starting in the first contract year to support the green corridor project. The multi-modal facility will operate round-the-clock, offering high-performance, eco-friendly fueling to CONCOR's logistics fleet as well as open-market commercial vehicles.
The agreement has been signed by Shri Mani Bhushan Singh, GGM (Projects & Services) at CONCOR and Shri Hitendra Kumar Garg, ED (Marketing) at GAIL in presence of Shri Swayambhu Arya, ED (Projects & Services) at CONCOR and other senior officials of GAIL & CONCOR on 08th July 2026 at GAIL office, New Delhi.
