Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals Limited informed stock exchanges on July 2, 2026 that it has received a letter of empanelment and rate contract from Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited for Off-grid DC Solar Photovoltaic Water Pumping Systems. The total order value is Rs 29.77 crore, excluding GST.
The order covers 1,397 Solar Photovoltaic Water Pumping Systems to be installed under the MTSKPY/PM-KUSUM-B scheme at various locations across Maharashtra. Crompton will execute design, manufacture, supply, transport, installation, testing and commissioning of the complete systems.
The scope includes a 5-year warranty, repair and maintenance services, and a remote monitoring system for the solar pumping systems. Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals must execute the order within 60 days from the date of issuance of the Notice to Proceed or work order.
The order has been awarded by MSEDCL, a domestic entity. Crompton confirmed that no promoter, promoter group, or group company holds any interest in the awarding entity. The contract does not fall within related party transactions.
Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals disclosed the order award under Regulation 30 of the SEBI Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements Regulations, 2015, with separate filings submitted to BSE and NSE. Chief Financial Officer Kaleeswaran Arunachalam signed the disclosure.
