Vedanta Limited informed the exchanges that the Directorate of Enforcement (ED) conducted a search operation at its premises under the Foreign Exchange Management Act, 1999 (FEMA). The search was initiated on June 1, 2026, at 12:15 PM IST and concluded on June 3, 2026, at 9:55 PM IST.

The search was conducted under the provisions of FEMA. Vedanta confirmed that no penalty or restriction has been imposed following the operation. The ED did not identify any aberrations or non-compliances in the communication issued to Vedanta.

Officers of Vedanta provided all necessary information, documents, and clarifications sought by the ED during the search operation. Vedanta stated that it cooperated fully with the authorities throughout the search.

Vedanta clarified that there is no impact on its financial, operational, or other activities as a result of the search. The disclosure was made in compliance with Regulation 30 of the SEBI Listing Regulations, covering material events that require disclosure to stock exchanges.

The filing was an update to a previous intimation from Vedanta on June 2, 2026. The earlier disclosure had flagged the potential regulatory action, and the latest submission provided complete details of the search operation, including its timing, authority, and scope under the relevant SEBI regulations.

The disclosure was signed by Prerna Halwasiya, Company Secretary and Compliance Officer of Vedanta Limited, and was submitted to both BSE, where Vedanta is listed under scrip code 500295, and the National Stock Exchange, where Vedanta trades under the symbol VEDL.
