Escorts Kubota Limited has introduced the Kubota NeoStar series, a compact and narrow tractor range in the 21-30 HP segment for horticulture applications. The series targets the 21-27 HP category across Maharashtra, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, and Gujarat.
The NeoStar series builds on the trust of more than 80,000 compact and narrow tractor customers in India. Escorts Kubota operates three tractor brands — Farmtrac, Powertrac, and Kubota — catering to entry-premium, value, and premium segments. The NeoStar series sits within the premium Kubota brand and is focused on the 21-27 HP category, one of the fastest-growing parts of the Indian tractor market with growth of around 35% over the last three years driven by rising horticulture mechanization.
Kubota NeoStar is offered in two configurations. The narrow variant, with a width of approximately 2.98 ft, is designed for sugarcane and narrow inter-row operations. The standard variant is positioned as an all-round compact tractor for vineyard, orchard, and multi-crop usage in confined spaces.
A new 27 HP narrow variant is purpose-built for narrow sugarcane fields and interculture operations. Power steering across all models provides operator comfort, while Eco PTO improves fuel efficiency. The compact design and enhanced ergonomics make the tractors suitable for multi-crop and confined-space applications.
The series is aimed at horticulture farmers growing crops including grapes, sugarcane, pomegranate, banana, and mango, along with vegetable growers, orchard operators, and agri-entrepreneurs with landholdings of 1 to 5 hectares. The Kubota NeoStar series will be available across authorized Kubota dealerships in India.
