Fertilizers and Chemicals Travancore Limited (FACT) has informed the National Stock Exchange that it is not aware of any specific reasons for the recent spurt in trading volume in its shares. FACT submitted its response on June 11, 2026, following a query from the exchange under its surveillance framework.
The NSE wrote to FACT on June 10, 2026, under letter reference NSE/CM/Surveillance/17076, after detecting a significant increase in trading volume. The exchange sought clarification to ensure investors have access to the latest relevant information about FACT.
FACT stated that it has been making necessary disclosures under the SEBI Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements Regulations, 2015 from time to time. FACT confirmed that, apart from information already disclosed to the exchange, it is not aware of any factors that may have contributed to the volume spurt.
The response was submitted by Susan Abraham, Company Secretary of FACT. FACT confirmed that it will continue to make adequate disclosures at appropriate times in accordance with regulatory requirements.
FACT has previously disclosed all material information to the exchange as required under the listing regulations. The response confirms that no undisclosed material event or information exists within FACT's knowledge that could explain the unusual volume movement.
