Glenmark Pharma appoints Rashmi Khandelwal as Company Secretary, Samir Kazi as Senior Management Personnel

Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Limited has announced changes to its key managerial personnel, approved at a board meeting held on May 29, 2026. The board approved the early retirement of Mr Harish Kuber as Company Secretary and Compliance Officer, effective from the close of business hours on May 29, 2026. Mr Kuber had served Glenmark for over nine and a half years.

Ms Rashmi Khandelwal has been appointed as the new Company Secretary and Compliance Officer, effective May 30, 2026. The appointment was made on the recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee. Ms Khandelwal is a qualified Company Secretary with over 17 years of experience in corporate governance and regulatory matters.

She holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Delhi, a Bachelor of Laws, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management. Her previous roles include positions at Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals, ACC Limited, Yes Bank Limited, and Vaish Associates Advocates.

Mr Samir Kazi, Executive Vice President and Head of Legal, Compliance and IP, has been appointed as Senior Management Personnel, effective May 29, 2026. Mr Kazi has over two decades of experience across pharmaceutical, corporate, and consulting sectors and oversees global legal strategy, ethics and compliance, intellectual property, risk management, litigation, and corporate governance at Glenmark.

Prior to joining Glenmark, Mr Kazi held leadership roles at Pfizer Limited and Hinduja Group India Pvt Ltd, and worked with law firms including Mulla and Mulla and Craigie Blunt and Caroe. The board meeting commenced at 4:30 PM and concluded at 7:26 PM on May 29, 2026.
