GPT Infraprojects Limited has secured a new contract worth ₹72 crore from Eastern Railway for the supply of PSC sleepers across various railway divisions.
According to the company’s exchange filing, the order has been awarded by PCMM, Eastern Railway, and involves the supply of PSC sleepers for multiple divisions of Eastern Railway.
The contract is domestic in nature and is scheduled to be executed within 730 days from the appointed date.
GPT Infraprojects said none of its promoters or promoter group entities have any interest in the awarding authority and confirmed that the transaction does not qualify as a related party transaction.
The company highlighted that its outstanding order book now stands at ₹4,548 crore, with a total order inflow of ₹72 crore recorded for FY27 so far.
GPT Infraprojects, the flagship infrastructure company of the GPT Group, operates through infrastructure and sleeper manufacturing businesses. The company is engaged in railway-focused infrastructure projects, including bridges, road overbridges (ROBs), and railway civil construction works.
In the sleeper segment, GPTINFRA manufactures and supplies concrete sleepers for Indian Railways as well as overseas markets. The company has manufacturing facilities in West Bengal, South Africa, Namibia and Ghana.
The latest railway order further strengthens the company’s presence in India’s rail infrastructure segment amid continued government spending on railway modernization and expansion projects.
