Graphite India Limited board of directors, at its meeting held on May 28, 2026, recommended a final dividend of Rs 7 per equity share for the year ended March 31, 2026. The dividend, on 195,375,594 equity shares of face value Rs 2 each, amounts to a total payout of approximately Rs 136.76 crore. The recommendation is subject to shareholder approval at the 51st annual general meeting, with payment due within 15 days from the AGM date.
Graphite India reported revenue from operations of Rs 2,812 crore for the year ended March 31, 2026. Total income stood at Rs 2,979 crore against total expenses of Rs 2,954 crore, resulting in a loss before exceptional items and tax of Rs 103 crore.
An exceptional item of Rs 16 crore brought the loss before tax to Rs 87 crore. The net loss for the fiscal year stood at Rs 73 crore. Earnings per share were a loss of Rs 3.71 per share.
For the quarter ended March 31, 2026, revenue from operations was Rs 816 crore against total income of Rs 851 crore and expenses of Rs 954 crore. The quarter recorded a net loss of Rs 73 crore with a loss per share of Rs 3.71.
The board has approved the audited standalone and consolidated financial results for the fiscal year. The board also approved the re-appointment of Mrs Sudha Krishnan as Non-Executive Independent Director for a second term of five years, effective December 1, 2026 through November 30, 2031. The re-appointment is subject to shareholder approval.
