Gujarat Gas Limited Q4 net profit rises to Rs 520.58 crore, board recommends Rs 8.90 dividend

Gujarat Gas Limited reported a standalone net profit of Rs 520.58 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2026, against Rs 44.89 crore in the same period last year. Revenue from operations for the quarter stood at Rs 5,975.63 crore, compared to Rs 6,560.23 crore in the year-ago quarter. Profit before tax was Rs 726.07 crore against Rs 97.15 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.

For the full fiscal year 2025-26, Gujarat Gas Limited posted a standalone net profit of Rs 2,298.55 crore compared to Rs 3,481.98 crore in the previous year. Annual revenue from operations was Rs 24,198.00 crore against Rs 27,717.65 crore last year. Profit before tax for the year was Rs 3,088.65 crore against Rs 2,232.24 crore in the prior year. Earnings per share for continuing operations stood at Rs 24.50 for the year compared to Rs 37.11.

The board recommended a final dividend of Rs 8.90 per equity share for the financial year 2025-26, subject to shareholder approval. The face value of each equity share is Rs 2.

The board of Gujarat Gas Limited approved the re-appointment of four independent directors for a second term. Prof. Yogesh Singh and Shri Bhadresh Mehta were re-appointed for three years from August 15, 2026. Shri Balwant Singh, IAS (Retd.) and Dr. Rekha Jain were re-appointed for three years from April 20, 2027.

Gujarat Gas Limited approved changes in senior management and a change in its registered office to Gujarat Energy Bhavan, Sector-H, Gandhinagar. Gujarat Gas Limited has been renamed Gujarat Energy Limited.
