Gujarat Gas Limited Receives Final Listing Approval for 62.27 Crore Equity Shares Under Scheme of Arrangement

Gujarat Gas Limited has received Final Listing and Trading Approval from both the National Stock Exchange of India Limited (NSE) and BSE Limited for 62,27,14,719 equity shares of Rs 2/- each issued pursuant to the Composite Scheme of Amalgamation and Arrangement.

The 62,27,14,719 equity shares were issued and allotted to eligible shareholders of Gujarat State Petroleum Corporation Limited (GSPC) and Gujarat State Petronet Limited (GSPL) as on the record date of 12th May 2026, under the Scheme.

The Scheme involves the amalgamation and arrangement amongst GSPC, GSPL, and GSPC Energy Limited (collectively the Transferor Companies), Gujarat Energy Limited (formerly Gujarat Gas Limited) as the Transferee and Demerged Company, and GSPL Transmission Limited as the Resulting Company.

The listing and trading approval was received on 17th June 2026. The equity shares are listed and admitted to dealings on both NSE and BSE with effect from Thursday, 18th June 2026. The shares carry distinctive numbers ranging from 688390126 to 1311104844.

The BSE approval noted that 37,28,73,995 equity shares held by Gujarat State Petronet Limited in Gujarat Energy Limited (formerly Gujarat Gas Limited) have been cancelled on account of cross holding.

Gujarat Gas Limited disclosed this information under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015. The shares trade under the symbol GUJGASLTD on NSE and under company code 539336 on BSE.
