HBL Engineering Limited (formerly HBL Power Systems Limited) announced that its Board of Directors, at a meeting held on July 01, 2026, approved the change in role of Mrs. Kavita Prasad Aluru (DIN: 00319292) from Non-Executive Director to Executive Director. The appointment is for a period of five years with effect from July 01, 2026, subject to the approval of the shareholders at their meeting.
The decision was based on the recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee. Mrs. Kavita Prasad Aluru has been associated with the company for over two decades and has served on the Board since the year 2000. She has extensive experience in exports, finance, banking, treasury, corporate governance, strategic planning, and business operations.
During her earlier tenure, Mrs. Aluru was involved in the day-to-day management of the company. Her deep understanding of the business and extensive experience make her well suited to lead executive functions.
Mrs. Kavita Prasad Aluru is the daughter of Dr. A.J. Prasad, Chairman and Managing Director of the company, and the spouse of Mr. M.S.S. Srinath. She is also the mother of Ms. Deeksha Mikkilineni. She is not debarred from holding the office of Director by virtue of any order passed by SEBI or any other authority.
The board meeting commenced at 03:00 pm and concluded at 04:45 pm.
