HCL Technologies Limited (HCLTECH) has launched an autonomous finance platform for use with Google Cloud’s Gemini Enterprise, the company said on May 27, 2026. The platform targets core finance and accounting operations that rely on manual intervention despite enterprise investments in ERP and SaaS systems. The new platform addresses this gap by enabling finance processes to operate with autonomy and intelligence, while integrating with existing technology systems.

The platform orchestrates end-to-end finance processes across Invoice-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) and Record-to-Report. It executes, learns and continuously optimizes workflows without human intervention. The approach enables faster execution, improved control and measurable business outcomes for enterprise finance organizations, HCLTech said.

The enterprise-grade platform combines Google’s Gemini Enterprise AI stack and secure cloud infrastructure with HCLTech’s finance domain expertise and engineering capabilities. It is part of HCLTech’s Industry AI Solutions, which delivers domain-trained AI solutions for specific industry and enterprise functions. The platform is scalable, secure and designed for real-world finance operations while accelerating time-to-value for global enterprises.

“ERP and SaaS platforms digitized finance, but they did not fundamentally change how work gets done,” said Upjit Ghuman, Executive Vice President and Global Head of BPO at HCLTech. “Our platform introduces an Agentic AI fabric that operates on top of customers’ existing IT systems, enabling finance processes to run largely autonomously. By reducing manual intervention, CFOs and finance teams can focus on judgment-driven and strategic work.”

Vijay Guntur, Chief Technology Officer and Head of Ecosystems at HCLTech, said the company’s AI strategy is about taking AI from experimentation to enterprise scale. Kevin Ichhpurani, President of Global Partner Ecosystem at Google Cloud, said the platform combines domain understanding with engineering to transform core business functions into autonomous operations. HCLTech reported consolidated revenues of $14.7 billion for the 12 months ending March 2026. HCLTech has more than 227,000 employees across 60 countries.
