HCL Technologies Limited (HCLTECH) has announced the launch of a Cybersecurity Fusion Center (CSFC) in Mississauga, Ontario. The facility is the latest addition to HCLTech's global network of 10 CSFCs and expands HCLTech's cybersecurity capabilities in Canada.

The center integrates AI-driven security operations, real-time threat intelligence, and next-generation cyber defense capabilities. It helps enterprises detect, respond to, recover from, and mitigate evolving threats across complex digital environments. The center also addresses Canadian data sovereignty requirements with locally supported cybersecurity capabilities designed for pre-emptive protection against ongoing risks.

Ontario Minister of Public and Business Service Delivery and Procurement Stephen Crawford called the launch a strong step for Ontario's leadership in cybersecurity and digital innovation. He said the investment will help protect Canadian businesses and infrastructure while creating jobs and strengthening the digital economy.

Jagadeshwar Gattu, President of Digital Foundation Services at HCLTech, said the center delivers intelligence-led security operations that help enterprises anticipate threats and recover faster. Gattu noted that cyber threats are growing more sophisticated in an AI-led landscape.

HCLTech has operated in Canada for 16 years, contributing to the technology ecosystem and workforce development. The new center creates opportunities to engage and grow the region's cybersecurity talent ecosystem. The launch follows recent investments including a Calgary office and an AI lab inaugurated on June 3, 2026.

HCLTech employs more than 227,000 people across 60 countries. Consolidated revenues for the 12 months ending March 2026 totaled $14.7 billion.
