Info Edge (India) Limited has appointed Himanshu Agarwal as Chief Financial Officer and Additional Director, designated as Whole-time Director and Chief Financial Officer, effective September 17, 2026. The appointment is for a five-year term through September 16, 2031, subject to shareholder and other statutory approvals. The company will inform stock exchanges upon Agarwal assuming office.
Agarwal has over three decades of experience in finance leadership, corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, and business transformation across listed organisations in India and internationally. He has held senior finance leadership positions at ICI India, AstraZeneca Pharma India, AkzoNobel India where he also served as Whole Time Director, Huhtamaki Oyj, and Bennett Coleman and Co Limited. He currently serves as Whole Time Director and Chief Financial Officer of Cohance Lifesciences Limited and has been recognised among the Top 100 India CFOs by the CFO Institute.
The board approved a re-constitution of certain board committees effective June 27, 2026, following the completion of Ashish Gupta's term as an Independent Director on July 20, 2026. The changes are intended to ensure continuity in committee functioning.
Radha Rajappa has been inducted as a member of the Audit Committee effective June 27, 2026. The Audit Committee is chaired by Sanjiv Sachar and includes Ashish Gupta and Geeta Mathur as members.
Rajesh Magow has been inducted into the Nomination and Remuneration Committee effective June 27, 2026, and will assume the role of Chairman from July 21, 2026. The committee also includes Kapil Kapoor and Sanjiv Sachar as members.
