Infosys Limited has launched AI-powered fan experiences in partnership with the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) for the 2026 grass court season. The new offerings debuted at the HSBC Championships at The Queen's Club, running from June 6 to 21, 2026. The experiences will be introduced across the LTA grass court season, which includes tournaments in Nottingham and Eastbourne leading up to Wimbledon.
The Infosys Match Centre provides live scores, draws, schedules, results, player profiles, match statistics, head-to-head comparisons, fan polls, and AI-powered commentary. The AI commentary feature uses Infosys' proprietary AI models and agentic AI framework to deliver context-aware narratives for a global audience. Infosys uses a human-in-the-loop monitoring approach for accuracy and responsibility.
On-site innovations at the HSBC Championships include a Fan Zone with Rally, an AI-powered humanoid with enhanced audio and computer-vision capabilities. Rally offers personalised interactions including selfie mode, tennis-themed conversations, and real-time match insights. VR Tennis allows fans to design and play in a virtual stadium created through voice prompts and generative AI.
These features run on Infosys Topaz, Infosys' AI-first offering using generative and agentic AI. The platform operates under responsible AI principles. Secure login-based personalization lets fans follow favourite players and surface relevant content across the website and mobile app.
Chris Pollard, Managing Director, Commercial and Operations at LTA, said the partnership focuses on investments in digital fan engagement and deepening understanding of the game. Sumit Virmani, Global Chief Marketing Officer at Infosys, said the collaboration aims to make data intuitive and engagement more personal for the global tennis audience.
