IPCA Laboratories Limited (IPCALAB) has entered into a definitive global licensing agreement with Bhami's Research Laboratory (BRL) granting Ipca access to BRL's proprietary high-concentration subcutaneous biologics delivery platform. The collaboration covers development and commercialization of multiple monoclonal antibody products targeting oncology and inflammatory diseases. The announcement was made through a stock exchange filing on June 12, 2026.

Under the agreement, BRL will handle proof-of-concept development and formulation development. Ipca will undertake further research, clinical trials, commercial manufacturing, and product launch across all global markets. The license covers all worldwide markets with no territorial restrictions.

BRL will receive defined milestone fees during technology transfer and royalties on net sales after the products reach commercialization. Additional financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

Ipca has established a bio-manufacturing facility in Pithampur, Madhya Pradesh, and a dedicated R&D center in Mumbai for its biosimilar development program. Ipca is targeting the USA, UK, EU, Japan, Canada, and India for subcutaneous formulation development, with a focus on anti-cancer and anti-inflammatory monoclonal antibodies.

Founded in 1949, Ipca derives nearly 50 percent of its income from exports to more than 120 countries. Ipca is among the world's largest manufacturers of over a dozen active pharmaceutical ingredients, with manufacturing facilities approved by regulators including the USFDA and European Directorate for the Quality of Medicines.
