JSW Steel Limited has issued a reminder notice to equity shareholders whose dividends have remained unclaimed for seven or more consecutive years. These shares are liable to be transferred to the Investor Education and Protection Fund (IEPF). The intimation was filed with the National Stock Exchange of India Limited (symbol JSWSTEEL) and BSE Limited (scrip code 500228).

Shareholders must claim their unpaid dividends on or before July 31, 2026. If dividends remain unclaimed by this deadline, the shares will be transferred to the IEPF Authority on September 1, 2026. No claim shall lie against JSW Steel Limited in respect of shares transferred to IEPF.

After the transfer to IEPF, shareholders can reclaim their shares by following the applicable procedures. JSW Steel Limited has provided a detailed record of the dividends that remain unpaid for each affected shareholder over seven consecutive years. The notice includes a list of specific dividend years and amounts that remain unclaimed for each shareholder.

Shareholders holding shares in physical form must submit duly filled and signed KYC forms ISR-1 and ISR-2 along with supporting documents to KFin Technologies Limited, the registrar and share transfer agent. Those holding shares in electronic form need to submit an updated Client Master List reflecting necessary bank details to the same registrar.

Shareholders may contact JSW Steel Limited at its registered office in Mumbai or KFin Technologies Limited in Hyderabad for queries regarding dividend claims or the share transfer process. KFin Technologies Limited has a toll-free number and dedicated email address for JSW Steel shareholder assistance.
