Jyoti CNC Automation Wins GST Appeal, Rs 4.46 Crore Demand Set Aside

Jyoti CNC Automation Limited received a favorable order from the Commissioner (Appeal), Central GST & Excise, Rajkot, dated May 29, 2026. The appellate authority set aside an order passed by the Additional Commissioner, Central GST, Rajkot, which had raised a total GST demand of Rs 4.46 crore.

The Commissioner (Appeal) quashed the demand in its entirety. With the entire demand dropped, Jyoti CNC Automation is eligible for a refund of amounts previously paid under protest in connection with this proceeding. The original demand amounted to Rs 4,45,59,720 and was raised through proceedings initiated by the CGST Commissionerate, Rajkot.

Jyoti CNC Automation had initially informed the BSE Limited and the National Stock Exchange of India Limited about this litigation on November 18, 2025. The disclosure was made under Regulation 30 of the SEBI Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements Regulations, 2015. The current filing on May 31, 2026 provides an update on the litigation status and follows the initial intimation made in November 2025.

The order is specific to this demand and does not involve key management personnel, promoters, or any settlement terms. Jyoti CNC Automation filed the appeal that resulted in the entire demand being set aside. No further financial implications for Jyoti CNC Automation are expected beyond the refund of amounts paid under protest.
