Kalpataru Projects International Limited has appointed Gautam Mehra as an Additional Director designated as an Independent Director for a term of five consecutive years with effect from June 9, 2026.
The Board of Directors approved the appointment at its meeting on June 9, 2026, on the recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee. The appointment is subject to shareholder approval at the ensuing Annual General Meeting.
Mehra is a business advisor with four decades of experience, including over two decades as a partner at PwC where he led the India Tax and Regulatory practice and the Asset Management Sector. He served on the Core India Leadership Team and stewarded global strategic client relationships during his tenure. Prior to PwC, he spent over a decade building a boutique professional services practice focused on investments and business transformation.
He has advised multinational corporations, leading Indian business groups, and multiple funds on investments, business transformation, acquisitions, and succession planning. Mehra has engaged with regulators and industry bodies on India's regulatory and tax landscape. He serves on two committees constituted by the Securities and Exchange Board of India and has served on boards of CII and Amcham India.
Mehra is also a Corporate Advisor and an Independent Board Member. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant and Lawyer and has completed executive education programs at Harvard Business School and INSEAD. He is not related to any existing director of Kalpataru Projects International Limited.
