Kalpataru Projects International Limited appointed Gautam Mehra as an Additional Director designated as an Independent Director for five consecutive years effective June 9, 2026. The appointment is subject to shareholder approval at the ensuing annual general meeting.
The board approved the appointment at its meeting on June 9, 2026, on the recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee. Mr. Mehra is not related to any existing director of Kalpataru Projects International Limited.
Mr. Mehra brings four decades of professional experience. He spent over a decade building a boutique professional services practice followed by over two decades as a partner at PwC. At PwC, he led the India Tax and Regulatory practice and the Asset Management Sector and served on the Core India Leadership Team.
He has advised multiple funds invested in India and worked with multinational corporations and leading Indian business groups on investments, business transformation, acquisitions, and succession planning. He has engaged with regulators and industry bodies on India's regulatory and tax landscape.
Mr. Mehra currently serves on two committees constituted by SEBI. He has served on boards and committees of industry organizations including APREA, CII, and Amcham India. He currently serves as a Corporate Advisor and an Independent Board Member.
Mr. Mehra is a qualified Chartered Accountant and Lawyer. He has completed executive education programs at Harvard Business School and INSEAD.
