Kalpataru Projects International Limited (KPIL) has submitted its Business Responsibility and Sustainability Report (BRSR) for financial year 2025-26 to stock exchanges, forming part of the Integrated Annual Report 2025-26. The BRSR covers the period from April 1, 2025 to March 31, 2026.
KPIL reported a turnover of approximately Rs 23,210 crore and a net worth of about Rs 8,215 crore for the fiscal year. Paid-up capital stood at Rs 34.16 crore. Exports contributed 30.02% of total turnover.
KPIL operates across six business segments. Transmission and Distribution contributed 38.62% of turnover, followed by Building and Factories at 29.98%, Oil and Gas at 11.73%, Water at 9.10%, Infrastructure at 4.99%, and Railways at 4.80%. KPIL has 22 subsidiaries and joint ventures across the UAE, USA, Mauritius, Ukraine, Sweden, Norway, Chile, Brazil, Saudi Arabia, and Senegal.
KPIL maintains 226 locations in India and 114 international locations, including four plants and 257 project sites across 19 states and 50 countries. As of March 31, 2026, KPIL employed 14,146 people, with 11,182 permanent employees and 2,964 non-permanent employees. The workforce was 96.60% male and 3.40% female.
KPIL received 13 shareholder complaints during FY 2026 and resolved all by year-end. The BRSR identifies climate change and energy as a key material issue. KPIL conducted a climate risk assessment with scenario-based analysis and developed a decarbonisation strategy, transitioning to cleaner energy through solar panel installations and renewable power sourcing.
