L&T Finance Limited Reports Q2 FY2026 Results

L&T Finance Limited reported consolidated revenue from operations of Rs 5,212.92 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, with interest income of Rs 4,894.91 crore and fees and commission income of Rs 318.01 crore. Total income stood at Rs 5,243.31 crore.

Profit after tax came in at Rs 915.99 crore for the quarter, compared with Rs 809.16 crore in the preceding quarter ended March 31, 2026 and Rs 700.84 crore in the year-ago quarter. Profit attributable to owners of L&T Finance Limited was Rs 902.47 crore and basic earnings per share were Rs 3.60.

Finance costs for the quarter totalled Rs 1,970.07 crore and impairment on financial instruments was Rs 582.64 crore. Total tax expense was Rs 320.29 crore.

The board of directors approved the unaudited consolidated and standalone financial results at its meeting held on July 10, 2026, which commenced at 1:50 p.m. and concluded at 5:38 p.m. L&T Finance Limited will publish the unaudited consolidated financial results in newspapers as required under the SEBI Listing Regulations.

L&T Finance Limited approved the appointment of Mr. Prashant Kumar as an additional independent director for a first term of five consecutive years from July 10, 2026 to July 9, 2031, subject to approval of members. Mr. Prashant Kumar is not debarred from holding office as a director by any SEBI order.

The board also approved the re-classification of Nabha Power Limited from the promoter group category to the public category, subject to stock exchange and regulatory approvals. Nabha Power Limited had ceased to be a subsidiary of Larsen & Toubro Limited following a letter dated June 26, 2026.
