Lemon Tree Hotels Limited has signed a License Agreement for Lemon Tree Hotel in Kumbakonam, Tamil Nadu. The property will be managed by Carnation Hotels Private Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company. This marks a strategic expansion into South India’s heritage and tourism hubs.
The hotel will feature 66 well-appointed rooms along with a multi-cuisine restaurant, banquet hall, meeting room, swimming pool, spa, and fitness center. This addition brings the group’s footprint in Tamil Nadu to eight hotels, including six operational and two upcoming properties.
Located 101 km from Tiruchirappalli International Airport and 300 meters from Kumbakonam Railway Station, the property offers convenient access for pilgrims, cultural travellers, and business visitors. Kumbakonam’s status as a spiritual and cultural destination aligns with Lemon Tree Hotels’ focus on high-potential Tier II and Tier III markets.
