Lemon Tree Hotels Limited has announced the opening of Lemon Tree Hotel, Sri Ganganagar, marking the brand's entry into the city and expanding its presence in Rajasthan to 23 hotels.
The property features 68 rooms and suites, updated from the 60 rooms originally disclosed to the stock exchanges on March 16, 2023. The hotel is managed by Carnation Hotels Private Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Lemon Tree Hotels Limited.
Sri Ganganagar, located in the northernmost part of Rajasthan, is regarded as the food basket of the state due to its extensive agricultural prosperity and canal-irrigated farmland. The city's strategic location near the international border and vibrant commercial markets sustain steady business and trade-related travel. The hotel is situated approximately 8 km from Sri Ganganagar Junction railway station and around 122 km from Bathinda Airport.
The hotel includes Citrus Café, an all-day multi-cuisine restaurant, and Slounge, a terrace bar, along with in-room dining services. The property offers versatile banquet and meeting spaces across indoor venues and lawns, a spa, a swimming pool, and a fitness centre, catering to corporate events, social celebrations, and extended stays.
This opening represents Lemon Tree Hotels Limited's 13th operational hotel in Rajasthan, with 10 additional hotels in the pipeline across the state. The brand now operates 130+ hotels across 80+ cities in India and internationally, with a pipeline of 130+ upcoming properties. Since opening its first 49-room hotel in 2004, the group has grown to 250+ properties, spanning seven distinct brands across multiple hospitality segments.
