Lloyds Metals Arm Subscribes to 5.85 Lakh Equity Shares of Loka Metals

Lloyds Metals And Energy Limited has announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, Lloyds Steel Private Limited, formerly Lloyds Logistics Private Limited, has subscribed to 5,85,000 fully paid-up equity shares of Loka Metals Private Limited. The subscription was carried out through a rights issue by Loka Metals to its existing shareholders in proportion to their respective shareholding.

The cash consideration for the subscription is Rs 0.59 crore at a par value of Rs 10 per share. The transaction does not constitute a related party transaction, and no promoter, promoter group, or group company holds any interest in the target entity.

Loka Metals was incorporated on 2 September 2025 and is based in Telangana, Hyderabad. The entity is engaged in steel processing, trading of iron and steel products, and cut and bend operations. Loka Metals is currently setting up a steel distribution facility and a cut and bend plant. Financial statements for Loka Metals are not yet available as it is a newly incorporated entity.

The subscription is part of the marketing strategy for wire rods. No governmental or regulatory approvals are required for this acquisition. The allotment has already been completed, and there is no change in Lloyds Steel's percentage shareholding in Loka Metals since the shares were allotted on a rights basis to existing shareholders proportionately.
