LT Foods Limited has announced the fifth edition of World Biryani Day, featuring Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan in a personalised digital campaign. LT Foods has invited biryani lovers to create a custom video advertisement alongside the actor by uploading their photograph through a dedicated platform.

World Biryani Day is celebrated annually on the first Sunday of July. The occasion, instituted by LT Foods in 2022, is a registered intellectual property of LT Foods and has evolved into a global celebration that unites biryani enthusiasts across geographies and generations.

The campaign allows participants to generate a personalised video with Shah Rukh Khan through the website starwithsrk.daawat.com. The initiative combines technology, entertainment and food as part of the World Biryani Day celebrations.

Ritesh Arora, CEO of India Business and Far East at LT Foods, said World Biryani Day was launched five years ago to celebrate biryani as a dish with universal appeal. The event has grown over five editions, and this year's campaign invites consumers to create personalised video advertisements.

Ritesh Sud, Chief Marketing Officer for India and Far East at LT Foods, said the campaign gives biryani fans the opportunity to share their love for the dish alongside Shah Rukh Khan. LT Foods expects consumers across cities to participate and share their personalised videos with family and friends.

LT Foods reported a consolidated revenue of approximately Rs 11,023 crore for the financial year 2025-26. LT Foods operates in more than 85 countries with flagship brands including Daawat and Royal, backed by a distribution network of over 1,400 distributors worldwide.
