NTPC Declares Commercial Operation of 34.4 MW Solar Capacity at Ramagundam

NTPC Limited declared commercial operation of the second part capacity of 34.4 MW from its 176 MW solar photovoltaic project at Ramagundam, Telangana. The disclosure was made to BSE and NSE under Regulation 30 of SEBI Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements Regulations, 2015 on 29th May 2026.

The commercial operation is effective from 00:00 hours on 29th May 2026 following successful commissioning. This 34.4 MW capacity constitutes the second part capacity of the 176 MW solar PV project now operational for commercial power generation. The total project capacity at Ramagundam is 176 MW, and this second part capacity declaration follows the previous commissioning of earlier phases.

With this capacity addition, NTPC group's total installed capacity stands at 90,807 MW. The group's commercial capacity now stands at 88,927 MW. The capacity figures include this 34.4 MW addition from the Ramagundam solar PV project.
