NTPC Green Energy Limited announced that its subsidiary Ayana Renewable Power Private Limited, through the ONGC NTPC Green Private Limited joint venture (50:50 between NTPC Green Energy Limited and ONGC Green Limited), has secured a 193 MW wind project at Rs 4.17 per kWh in the Madhya Pradesh Power Management Company Limited (MPPMCL) wind tender. The auction was concluded on 30th June 2026.
The tender titled \"Purchase of 800 MW Wind Power Through Competitive Bidding Process Followed By e-Reverse Auction from Projects Setup Anywhere in India with 'Greenshoe Option' of Additional Capacity Upto 100% (800 MW)\" invited competitive bids. Ayana secured the 193 MW capacity through the e-reverse auction process at a tariff of Rs 4.17 per kWh as per Request for Selection conditions. Ayana Renewable Power Private Limited is a wholly owned subsidiary of the ONGC NTPC Green Private Limited joint venture entity.
NTPC Green Energy Limited and ONGC Green Limited established the ONGC NTPC Green Private Limited joint venture in 2019 to develop renewable energy projects. Ayana operates across India in wind and solar power projects with a total capacity of 2,000 MW. The 193 MW wind project represents NTPC Green Energy Limited's continued expansion in renewable energy.
NTPC Green Energy Limited is India's largest power producer with a portfolio of over 64,000 MW including 15,500 MW of renewable energy capacity. The company aims to achieve 60 GW of total capacity by 2030.
