Oil & Natural Gas Corporation Limited, at its board meeting held on June 25, 2026, appointed Shri Satyan Kumar, Director (Strategy & Corporate Affairs), as a Key Managerial Personnel with immediate effect.
The board of directors of ONGC approved the appointment of Shri Anupam Agarwal, Director (Finance), as Chief Financial Officer of ONGC with immediate effect. Agarwal replaces Shri Yogish Nayak S.
Agarwal brings over 35 years of experience in finance and commercial management in the oil and gas sector. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Commerce and an MBA in Finance from Lucknow University and is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India, an Associate Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India, and a Chartered Financial Analyst from ICFAI, Hyderabad.
Agarwal joined ONGC in 1990 as a Finance & Accounts Officer and has held various finance assignments across Baroda, Dehradun, Jorhat, Mumbai, and Delhi at operational and corporate levels. He served as Director (Finance) of ONGC Videsh Limited since June 2022 and as Chairman of ONGC Overseas Investment Limited prior to joining the ONGC board. He was appointed Director (Finance) of ONGC by the Government of India.
During his tenure at ONGC Videsh, the subsidiary mobilised over US$ 3 billion through structured financing arrangements. He also established ONGC Overseas Investment Limited at GIFT City as the group's Global Treasury Centre.
