PNC Infratech Limited announced that its subsidiary Kanpur Lucknow Expressway Private Limited, the concessionaire for the project, has received the Provisional Completion Certificate for a Hybrid Annuity Mode road project. The PCOD dated June 10, 2026, was issued by the Independent Engineer and declares the project fit for commercial operations with effect from April 27, 2026. The disclosure was made to the stock exchanges on June 11, 2026.
The project involves construction of a six-lane upgradable to eight-lane Kanpur Lucknow Expressway, including a spur from km 10.980 to km 28.500 in the state of Uttar Pradesh. The project was awarded under Package-I of the Bharatmala Pariyojana and executed on Hybrid Annuity Mode for the National Highways Authority of India.
The appointed date for the project was February 1, 2023, with a contractual completion period of 910 days. The revised scheduled completion date and the provisional completion date are both April 27, 2026. The project has met the revised timeline for achieving commercial operations.
The bid project cost stands at Rs 1,413 crore, with price index multiple amount payable as per the concession agreement. Under the HAM framework, the concessionaire is entitled to receive annuity payments from NHAI over the operations period. The project has now transitioned from the construction phase to the operations phase following receipt of the completion certificate.
Kanpur Lucknow Expressway Private Limited is a subsidiary of PNC Infratech Limited. This project adds to PNC Infratech's portfolio of operational HAM road projects across the national highway network.
