Rail Vikas Nigam Limited has received a Letter of Acceptance from East Coast Railway for construction of four major bridges on the Bhadrak-Vizianagaram section in Odisha and Andhra Pradesh. The bridges are part of the 3rd and 4th line project between Nergundi-Barang (22 km) and Khurda Road-Vizianagaram (363 km) on EPC mode.
The order covers Bridge 539 over river Birupa (16x30.5m Open Web Steel Girder), Bridge 544 over river Mahanadi (32x65.84m), Bridge 553 over river Kathjori (18x45.70m), and Bridge 557 over river Kuakhai (20x45.70m). The total order value is Rs 967.93 crore including 18% GST.
The contract execution period is 1,095 days. East Coast Railway awarded the order to RVNL as a domestic entity, and the company stated the work falls in the normal course of its business. No promoter or promoter group entity has any interest in the awarding entity.
The order does not involve related party transactions. RVNL made the disclosure pursuant to Regulation 30 of SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, and informed both the National Stock Exchange of India and BSE.
The filing continued a letter dated 16.04.2026. The contract is part of RVNL's ongoing railway infrastructure development work across India, including expanding and upgrading existing rail corridors to handle increased traffic.
