Saregama India Limited has appointed Abhishek Kapoor as Chief Financial Officer and Key Managerial Personnel, effective July 15, 2026. The board approved the appointment at its meeting held on June 24, 2026, following recommendations from the Nomination and Remuneration Committee and the Audit Committee. Kapoor's appointment is on a full-time basis.
The board separately appointed Kuldeep Kothari as Interim Chief Financial Officer and Key Managerial Personnel with immediate effect from June 24, 2026. Kothari will serve in the interim role until July 14, 2026, the day before Kapoor takes charge, to maintain continuity in the finance function.
Kapoor is a chartered accountant with over 25 years of experience across listed companies and large consumer-driven organisations, including media and entertainment, FMCG, beverages, and manufacturing. He holds an executive specialisation in Strategy Management from IIM Kozhikode and currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer of Sula Vineyards Limited, a listed entity.
Kothari brings over 23 years of experience in finance, accounts, treasury, budgeting, financial reporting, internal controls, taxation, and regulatory compliance. He has been with Saregama India for seven years and has held various leadership positions within the finance function.
The appointments were approved to ensure continuity in the office of the Chief Financial Officer. Kapoor will take charge on July 15, 2026. Kothari will serve as Interim CFO from June 24, 2026 to July 14, 2026. Saregama India disclosed these changes to the National Stock Exchange and BSE.
