His experience includes handling large-scale operational assignments with focus on organizational effectiveness and stakeholder service across various banking operations.
Ashutosh Kumar Sharma, the current Chief Operating Officer of SBI Cards, will demit office at the close of business on June 20, 2026, upon completion of his existing term. Saurav Ghosh's appointment as the new Chief Operating Officer takes effect from June 21, 2026, the day after Sharma completes his term and steps down from the position.
The Nomination and Remuneration Committee evaluated Ghosh and recommended him for the COO position to the Board of Directors. SBI Cards disclosed this change in senior management to BSE Limited and the National Stock Exchange of India Limited.
