SJVN Limited has signed Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) with Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (GUVNL) for the supply of green power from three upcoming hydro electric projects in Himachal Pradesh. The PPAs cover the 66 MW Dhaulasidh Hydro Electric Project (HEP), the 210 MW Luhri Stage-I HEP, and the 382 MW Sunni Dam HEP. Together, these three projects represent 658 MW of hydro power capacity.

The agreements were executed on June 29, 2026, at Vadodara, Gujarat. Sh. Aman Katoch, General Manager (C&SO) of SJVN, and Sh. Sanjay Mathur, General Manager (Commerce) of GUVNL, signed the PPAs. Senior officials from both organisations attended the signing ceremony.

Sh. Bhupender Gupta, Chairman and Managing Director of SJVN, said the PPAs expand SJVN's portfolio of long-term power sale arrangements with utilities across the country. SJVN is developing these hydro electric projects as part of its generation capacity expansion programme.

The 66 MW Dhaulasidh HEP, the 210 MW Luhri Stage-I HEP, and the 382 MW Sunni Dam HEP are located in Himachal Pradesh. These projects are part of SJVN's pipeline of renewable energy developments. Power from these projects will be supplied to Gujarat under the PPAs signed with GUVNL.

SJVN, a joint venture of the Government of India and the Government of Himachal Pradesh, is expanding its hydro power portfolio. The PPAs with GUVNL add to SJVN's long-term power sale agreements with state utilities.
