Sonata Software Clarifies on Spurt in Volume, States No Undisclosed Price-Sensitive Information

Sonata Software Limited has responded to the National Stock Exchange's query regarding a significant increase in trading volume in its equity shares. Sonata Software submitted its clarification on June 3, 2026, in reply to the exchange's letter dated June 2, 2026, referencing the surveillance query on volume movement observed across exchanges in the recent past.

In its response, Sonata Software confirmed that all disclosures required under Regulation 30 of the SEBI Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements Regulations, 2015, have been disseminated to the exchanges promptly. Sonata Software stated it has complied with corporate governance policies regarding timely disclosure of events and information that may impact operations and performance, including all price-sensitive information.

Sonata Software stated that it is not aware of any other information or announcement that may have a bearing on the price or volume behaviour of its scrip. This includes any impending announcement that could impact Sonata Software's operations or financial performance. Sonata Software has no knowledge of any factors beyond what has already been disclosed to the exchanges.

Sonata Software has undertaken to continue updating the exchanges on all material events and information as required under applicable law. The clarification was submitted to the National Stock Exchange of India Limited at its Bandra Kurla Complex office, addressed to the Manager of the Listing Department. The response was signed by Mangal Kulkarni, Company Secretary, Compliance Officer and Head-Legal of Sonata Software. Sonata Software Limited is listed on the NSE under the ticker symbol SONATSOFTW.
