Tata Consultancy Services Limited has announced a global strategic partnership with Anthropic, the frontier AI company behind Claude. TCS will join the Claude Partner Network as a Global Premier Partner and will equip 50,000 associates with Claude. TCS and Anthropic will jointly go to market with AI solutions for highly regulated sectors.

TCS will set up a dedicated Business Unit focused on customer value propositions, joint industry solutions, and deep AI expertise on the Claude family of models through early access. The partnership is designed to overcome barriers in regulated industries where accuracy and oversight are critical for production deployment.

TCS will equip 50,000 associates across engineering, finance, legal, marketing, and sales with Claude through enterprise-wide licensing. In the UK, Diligenta, TCS FCA-regulated life and pensions business serving over 22 million customers, will use Claude for agentic process transformation. TCS iON, which conducts over 75 million annual assessments across 1,500 cities in India, will deliver certification on Claude models. TCS will also bring its domain-led engineering expertise to the Claude Code ecosystem through reusable skills and plugins.

K Krithivasan, CEO and MD of TCS, said combining Claude with TCS industry expertise will help customers move faster to production. Dario Amodei, Co-founder and CEO of Anthropic, said the partnership deepens Anthropic commitment to India, its second-largest market. N Chandrasekaran, Chairman of Tata Sons, said the partnership reflects a shared conviction that AI will be foundational and transformative for enterprises worldwide.
