Thomas Cook (India) Limited has announced an exclusive long-term partnership with visa processing platform Atlys to integrate foreign exchange services directly into the visa application journey for travellers.
The collaboration aims to simplify access to forex services by combining visa processing and foreign exchange solutions into a unified customer experience. The partnership will cater to both leisure and student travel segments.
Under the arrangement, customers applying for international visas through Atlys will now be able to seamlessly access Thomas Cook India’s forex products, including Visa-backed Forex Cards and foreign currency services.
The integrated solution will offer a streamlined process featuring digital and assisted onboarding, video KYC and secure doorstep delivery across India. The companies said the initiative is designed to improve convenience, speed and trust for digitally savvy travellers seeking a hassle-free booking experience.
Thomas Cook India’s offerings under the partnership include prepaid travel cards supporting 28 global currencies, student-focused overseas education cards, One Currency cards with zero cross-currency conversion fee, currency notes for high-demand destinations and overseas remittance services covering more than 120 countries.
Commenting on the development, Deepesh Varma, Chief Business Officer – Foreign Exchange at Thomas Cook India, said the collaboration aligns with the company’s customer-first strategy and addresses the growing demand for integrated digital travel services.
Mohak Nahta, Founder and CEO of Atlys, said the partnership is aimed at removing friction points in the traveller journey by integrating essential forex capabilities within the visa process itself.
Rishi Chhabra, Country Manager, Visa India, said Visa-backed forex cards would provide travellers with a secure and widely accepted payment solution during international travel.
Thomas Cook India said the partnership would help strengthen its digital travel ecosystem and expand its reach among young, digitally native travellers.
