UNO Minda Limited Receives Customs Order on Anti-Dumping Duty for Machinery Import

UNO Minda Limited has received an order from the Additional Commissioner of Customs at Jawaharlal Nehru Custom House, Nhava-Sheva, Maharashtra, regarding anti-dumping duty on import of machinery. The order was received on June 17, 2026 at 10:39 AM Indian Standard Time. UNO Minda disclosed the development to the stock exchanges under Regulation 30 of the SEBI Listing Regulations.

The order demands payment of Rs 0.49 crore as duty and an equivalent penalty of Rs 0.49 crore, totaling Rs 0.98 crore in duty and penalty. The duty and penalty demands are each for Rs 48,81,256. Interest on the duty amount is payable under Section 28AA of the Customs Act, 1962 at the prescribed rate.

UNO Minda intends to contest the order based on the merits of the case and does not foresee any material impact on its financial, operational or other activities. The anti-dumping duty order from Jawaharlal Nehru Custom House pertains to machinery imported by UNO Minda. UNO Minda will contest the order through appropriate legal channels.

The disclosure was made to both the National Stock Exchange of India and BSE under Regulation 30 read with Schedule III of the SEBI Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements Regulations, 2015. UNO Minda submitted the filing in compliance with the SEBI Master Circular dated January 30, 2026. UNO Minda's equity shares are traded on the National Stock Exchange under the symbol UNOMINDA and on the BSE under scrip code 532539.
