Wipro Limited has revised the expected completion timeline for its acquisition of select customer contracts of Alpha Net Consulting LLC and its subsidiaries. The transaction is now expected to close by September 30, 2026, a three-month extension from the earlier target of June 30, 2026.
Wipro disclosed the timeline revision in a regulatory filing on June 23, 2026, under Regulation 30 of the SEBI Listing Regulations. Wipro had originally signed the definitive agreement on April 14, 2026, through its subsidiaries. Wipro informed the BSE, National Stock Exchange of India, and NYSE about the transaction on April 15, 2026.
The acquisition covers select customer contracts of Alpha Net Consulting LLC, a US-based technology consulting firm. The transaction structure, scope, and other terms remain unchanged under the revised timeline. Wipro had initially communicated a June 30 completion target in its April 15 disclosure to the exchanges.
Wipro had initially expected to complete the acquisition within roughly two and a half months of signing the definitive agreement on April 14. The revised timeline now projects completion at about five and a half months from the signing date. Wipro has not disclosed specific reasons for extending the closing timeline.
Wipro stated the transaction is now expected to be complete by September 30, 2026. Wipro will provide further updates upon completion of the transaction.
